Recently in Sunday School…

Sylvia Glauster, SCS Coordinator

• We have been learning about the covenants God makes with God's people including Noah, Abraham, and Sarah.

• The youth group has been preparing to feed the hungry through the Night Ministry program.

• We have been singing the Taize chant “O Lord Hear My Prayer” to help us pray during Lent.  Students volunteer weekly prayers of thanks for God and Jesus as well as petitions for people who are poor, cold, or living in Haiti and Japan.

• We have welcomed children new to Augustana, some of whom have become regular members of our Sunday School.

Sound like fun?  Parents and other interested parties are welcome to join us at 9:30 for our group opening, and we are sometimes in need of substitute teachers.

We are also looking for volunteers to help out with Vacation Bible School, which will be the week of June 18th – 22nd.
