Purpose
The Worship and Music Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Pastor and the Cantor, who are ex officio members.
At its meetings it reviews recent worship services and discusses future services and events at Augustana. It plans training sessions for worship assistants and readers, hosts the ‘hanging of the greens’ before Christmas, and hosts the festive reception following the Easter Vigil. The committee has lately been involved in trying to recruit new sacristans and ushers.
